Hey guys! I know its been a while since I posted here on the blog or really anything on my Twitter, but I’m gonna explain whats going on here in a minute. I wanted to do a little wrap up and TBR first.
December Wrap Up.
December was a weird month in terms of reading. I barely read anything in the beginning of the month, and then towards the end, I was flying through books. I only did two reviews of the books that I read, but I do plan on writing reviews for those books eventually, including a lengthy post on a Colleen Hoover DNF and why I’m done reading books from that author.
Heres a complete list of all the books I read last month:
I started The Wrath and the Dawn in December and finished it up yesterday. I loved it, and look for a review sometime in the future! As for the rest of the month, I hope to get some good reading in. I really want to read more books than I did last year, and I think I’m off to a great start.
The Wrath and the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh
Life in a Fishbowl by Len Vlahos
Be With Me by Jennifer L. Armentrout
Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
The Princess Diarist by Carrie Fisher
I’m already partially through Be With Me, and my next read will be Life in a Fishbowl in anticipation of the book signing on friday, so three books down in the first week of the year is a great start to me!
So you may or may not have noticed that I’ve been a little quiet online lately. Well, quieter than usual. I miss it. I really do. I miss talking about books and talking about the importance of contacting your reps, especially at a time when we really need it. I want to continue doing that. I want to continue talking about diverse books and so much more. But what I noticed was that I was getting stressed out with the addition of certain things happening in my personal life. In the midst of all that, I was ignoring my health. I don’t want to go into a lot of details, but I have a health issue that I can’t ignore anymore. Its consuming all of my time right now, and it deserves all of my attention. I just need to take some time away from blogging and from twitter. I’ll still post from time to time on Twitter and Instagram so I feel like I still have some sort of connection. When I get a handle on whats going on, hopefully I can return and blog on a more stable schedule. Thank you guys for sticking around.
